Gauteng Exam Assistant And Quality Assurer Jobs Available

The Gauteng government Education Department is recruiting now for Exam Assistants and Quality Assurers to assist with marking the Matric final exams this year.

There are 270 positions as Examination Assistant and 1058 positions available for Quality Assurers open now. The jobs will be available in various regions across Gauteng, with the Quality Assurer positions available at many different schools across the province.

Requirements

Applicants must have an appropriate recognised academic qualification: Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate Vocational.

Only registered students at tertiary institutions, unemployed persons with one or more tertiary qualification and unemployed graduates may apply.

Applicants must possess numerical skills with Mathematics /Mathematical Literacy at Grade 12 level. Second year and above tertiary students will be advantaged.

Please indicate previous experience in examinations administration as an Examination Assistant / Quality Assurer [ District Office / Marking Centre or Office based]. The nature of the work is linked to tight deadlines and thus requires that the successful candidate be able to work under pressure.

Anyone who is writing the National Senior Certificate this year will not be considered for these job vacancies.
